I am Alper from Stockholm. I am a computer engineer and an ICT Entrepreneur. I studied in Turkey and have been in Finland as an exchange student. Currently I am studying ICT Entrepreneurship in The Royal Institute of Technology as a master student.
My master program is about turning ideas into real companies inside the Information and Communication Technologies domain. But, I believe that entrepreneurship must be in all parts of our lives. Entrepreneurship is not only starting up a company; but also about business development, sales, marketing and most importantly networking with people.
Besides that, I like playing soccer, driving car, playing guitar and singing. I like networking and meeting with new people. If you are in Stockholm, i never say “NO” to a coffee and chat about business opportunities and IT.
Since I am an entrepreneur, I wanted to share my little knowledge & experience with the community and make network. I am always looking for great people and business ideas.
You can find my CV
As a result of “VIA Signatura Strengths Questionnaire”, which is a scientific research-based test that measures 24 character strengths, you can find the top 5 strength in my personality . (Test takes nearly 40 minutes and includes 240 questions. Here are my results, what about yours?)

Zest, enthusiasm, and energy
Regardless of what you do, you approach it with excitement and energy. You never do anything halfway or halfheartedly. For you, life is an adventure.

Hi Alper:
I have come across your profile on LinkedIn.
I am a Canadian software entrepreneur. After a long stint with Sun Microsystems, I have co-founded a software company in USA with an offshore development center. I am eager to meet people like you from the Nordic ICT industry. Based on my findings on the Nordic ICT market, I get to see ample opportunities for mutually beneficial co-operation in software development.
Besides, I am also interested to know about the people/culture of the Nordic region.
I would really appreciate if you would allow me to get back to you for future correspondence.
Looking forward to hearing from you.

Hi, thx for your SCJA notes. I think the tipps are helpful. But i have a few understanding-difficulties with these notes, can you explain them a little bit more or do you have external links, code examples??
- declarative user interface construction – is NOT part of the J2EE specification.
- in Java an enumerated type is represented as first-class object.
- Classes that do NOT support information hiding are NOT treated specially in Java
- Attributes incur a runtime penalty. However, the Sun hotspot JVM usually can eliminate the added overhead by “inlining” the methods where they are called.
- Compositions may also have navigation methods, but these methods must NOT pass references to the owned objects. This is usually achieved by passing back a copy of the object rather than the owned object itself.
I studied for SCJA from SUN’s web site called SAI. There you can find lots of code examples and detailed explanations. In fact, if you are a student and if your university has a sun campus ambassador, you can find that guy and he must help you to register yourself to SAI (Sun Academic Initiative). I also have sum notes, but i am not sure if it is legal to distribute them.
Coming to the explanations, these were the correct answers of SCJA example exam at SAI. So, i just copied and pasted to SCJA tips page. My recommendations to you is that; try to register to SAI, there you will find lots of useful stuff.
Good Luck
Do you mean this stuff:
ePractice Sample Questions for the Sun Certified Associate for the Java Platform, Standard Edition, Exam Version 1.0 (WGS-PREX-J019-10) (free)
I don’t find the examples from above ;(
Maybe you can send it to me per mail?
Hi,
No, these are free examples. But i think, once you register to SAI you can find lots of exam materials and mock-up exams. But, these questions are also very similar to the original exam:
